We received the sad news of the passing of Gene Hackman, his wife and their dog earlier today.

With the Oscars on Sunday, we are sure to see many tributes, but for a bit of a throwback today, I wanted to share a video of the moment Gene was honored at the 2002 Golden Globe Awards with the Cecile B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award.

The moment was accompanied by a video showcasing his many award-winning performances over the years. Truly remarkable.
